Pursue aggressive oversight of Access-A-Ride to ensure that no users experience unnecessarily long trips, get stranded/never picked up, or experience retaliation after issuing a complaint.
Work towards making every subway station in New York City accessible. Currently, 75% of NYC’s subway stations are not ADA accessible.
Appoint an appropriate number of people with disabilities to Community Boards to ensure that PWDS are adequately and fairly represented.
