As a UFT member for more than 20 years, I know how crucial the role of organized labor is in securing workplace safety and fairness for regular folks. I fully support workers forming unions and seeking Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).

  • Provide oversight and assistance for union formations and CBAs.

  • Organize press conferences in front of City Hall or job sites to highlight any unjust actions by employers.

  • Participate in non-violent direct action to support workers organizing or seeking a collective bargaining agreement. Advocating for workers is a perfect opportunity to get into what Rep. John Lewis called “good trouble”.

  • Support pro-worker legislation with my allies in labor.
